Meet Christine Corrigan — 4th Grade Teacher
Why I love St. John School?
I love St. John’s because everyone has made me feel so welcome. Also, the staff and administration have made me feel like I am part of something special and together we can make great things happen for our school, parish and for the students we instruct. I love it that we have a faith community that grows and flourishes each day.
My favorite part of teaching?
My students. Their enthusiasm and quest for knowledge are exciting. It’s exciting for me to come into the classroom each day and share my passion and love of learning with my students. As an educator, I am a forever learner. Therefore, I am always on the quest for knowledge and something new and exciting to share with my students that stimulates their quest for knowledge and motivates them to learn.
What I like to do outside of school?
I enjoy spending time with my family, cuddling with my kitty, golfing, music, concerts, farmers markets and being a graduate student.
I attended Pulaski High School and St. Norbert College. I have a degree in Elementary education and early childhood and kindergarten. I have concentrations in music, science and language arts. I have taken most of my graduate classes through Viterbo College in La Crosse. Currently, I am in the educational leadership program at Silver Lake College in Manitowoc.
