Meet Sr. Ruth Ann LaBine — 2nd Grade Teaching Assistant
Why I love St. John School?
Our community founder, Father Daems, has his roots here. He served with Father Vanden Broek, so I’ve always dreamed of serving here! Fr. Daems founded us to serve God through education here in the Green Bay Diocese. After 37 years here, I am still learning and growing with the students and families here.
My favorite part of teaching?
Watching students grow and learn at their individual pace, and for them to grow in their love of God and sharing this love with others.
What I like to do outside of school?
I like to read, play cards with friends, travel and spend time with my family and friends.
My education
Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University and master’s degree in Special Education from Cardinal Stritch University. Theology and education classes at St. Norbert, Viterbo, Notre Dame.
