Meet Father Ronald Belitz — Pastor
Serving St. John Nepomucene since 2018
Fr. Ron is the fourth of nine children and grew up in the small village of Cleveland, Wisconsin, 50 miles east of Little Chute along the shores of Lake Michigan. He started his studies in 1966 at Sacred Heart Seminary as a high school student. His college days were spent at St. Norbert in De Pere. In 1974, he graduated with a major in sociology and a minor in religious studies. He took a yearlong break from his formal studies to teach sixth, seventh, and eighth-graders at Resurrection Catholic Parish in Allouez, Wisconsin. He finished his last four years of seminary at St. John in Collegeville, Minnesota. He was ordained a priest by Bishop Aloysius Wycislo on June 2, 1979, with a friend of many years, Fr. Bob Kabat.
“St. John Nepomucene Catholic Community is the seventh parish I have had the honor of serving in as priest and the fifth parish as a pastor. Each of the parishes I have ministered in has been a blessing for me. My hope for each member of our parish is for our vision statement to become a reality in our lives. Once we accept the great gift God has given to us, my prayer is that we would be able to share our gift with those we care about: our family, friends, and those in greatest need.”
