Volunteer Spotlight

I love the sense of community and togetherness that St. John has. People give an effort to get to know you. I am involved in helping with younger kids, typically with vacation Bible school or a Christmas program. I like being a helping hand for the teachers, helping kids have a fun time, and getting to volunteer with my sister, Emma. I also enjoy drawing, singing, playing piano, acting, being with my family and friends, taking nature walks, watching movies, making videos and digital art. Fun Fact: When I volunteer, I love to dress up for the themes! – Lydia

I love the close knit community at St. John Nepomucene. I help mostly with younger grades in Vacation Bible school and other various activities around the parish! I enjoy doing this because I love working with small children and I love helping my community. I also enjoy theater and other forms of art, along with playing games and spending time with my family and friends. Fun Fact: I learned how to play three instruments, and I’ve played piano the longest, around 7 years. – Emma
