Children’s Liturgy

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”

3 John 1:4

We delight in sharing our love for God with the children of our community. We hope to see you soon!

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Ages 4 to 10 years

Offered at all weekend Masses Sept. – May

Takes place during the readings portion of Sunday Liturgy. Children are led to the Msgr. Jim Room and return to their families after the Prayers of the Faithful.

The children receive a blessing from Fr. Ron and the congregation, then go to hear the Sunday’s scripture at their level, sing a song, do a special game, activity or craft to help engage them, and receive a take-home activity sheet.

First Steps Drop Off Program

Ages 18 months to 3 years

Offered at 8am and 10am Masses Sept. – May
(currently on hold due to COVID-19)

Located in Room 111 (down the hall from the Fellowship Hall)

While you are praying in church, your toddler will be playing with purpose. Short prayers, worship songs, Jesus coloring pages and bible stories will fill their hour!

First Steps Carpet Area

For any children with the wiggles

Offered at all weekend Masses (currently on hold due to COVID-19)

A safe and comfortable space for our youngest children and their parents.  This is a carpeted area with play things for children, set up in the Fellowship Hall. Parents or caregivers may also watch the Mass on the screen nearby. After a time when the wiggles have calmed, parents and children are encouraged to return to the assembly.

Busy Bags

(Currently on hold due to COVID-19) All children are welcome to grab a busy bag, located on a standing rack in the main entrance and also at the Information Desk.  They can be brought into church for those kids that need a little distraction so their parents can continue to worship.
