Walk to School Day: On Wednesday, October 7, students alongside the Fox Valley Metro Police Department and Little Chute Fire Department, SJS staff and any family members willing to join us will walk to school as a group. Please have your student at the pool entrance of Doyle Park by 7:15 am so they don’t miss the group departure. Dress for the weather!
Vote for 7th & 8th Graders: Grades 7 and 8 are participating in Kaukauna Utilities’ Public Power Week Coloring Contest and they need your help to win. Go to their picture on the Kaukauna Utilities Facebook now until Sunday, October 11 and “Like” the photo to cast your vote. Share with family and friends – every “like” counts. The photo with the most likes will win a pizza party and a $500 school donation. Winners will be announced Monday, October 12. VOTE HERE

Raising Kids in a Digital World Event: Sunday, Nov. 1, 6-7PM in the St. John Parish Center Atrium. Drawing from their experience raising teens and their years of working with young people, Tony and Kristin Bird will offer an honest and practical look at parenting in today’s digital world. Together, we will explore how to set healthy boundaries, foster honest conversations, and help our children develop the judgment and freedom they need to navigate technology for themselves. Whether your child is in upper elementary school, middle school or high school, there will be something valuable for parents of children of all ages.

The People Who Serve
Home & School Association
The Home and School Association is our “Parent Organization” here at St. John School. All parents are automatically part of the Home and School Association. Our purpose is to work collectively on behalf and in support of the school. While Home and School is a vehicle to mobilize parental efforts in support of the school, it also seeks to create and enrich a sense of community and school family.
Meetings are held monthly and all SJS families are encouraged to attend.

Home & School Back-to-School Checklist:
[ ] Fill out the H&S form: Provide your student’s details and indicate whether you want your family included in the school directory.
[ ] Submit the $25 H&S fee: Pay the $25 fee per student to help fund school events throughout the year.
