April Explanation Station – St. John Nepomucene Adult Faith Formation
Did you know that one of the key reasons many people remain Catholic is because they believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, which they consider the ultimate source of spiritual nourishment and healing. What a beautiful reason!

March Explanation Station – St. John Nepomucene Adult Faith Formation
One powerful action during Lent is for us to imitate Jesus by modeling ourselves after him. We spend 40 days in the wilderness, strengthening ourselves to overcome temptation and align our will with God’s.

February Explanation Station – St. John Nepomucene Adult Faith Formation
One reason to be Catholic: The Sacrament of Reconciliation. Experiencing regular reconciliation with a priest is a beautiful opportunity to receive forgiveness and spiritual healing, removing the burden of sin. And Lent is the perfect time!

Here is one main reason people choose to be (and remain) Catholic:
Jesus founded a Church, not just a book.
Catholics believe Jesus established a visible Church, built on the apostles, with Peter as its head (Matthew 16:18). The Catholic Church traces its leadership and teaching authority directly back to them through apostolic succession.
This means the faith isn’t reinvented every generation—it’s handed on.

November Explanation Station – St. John Nepomucene Adult Faith Formation
It’s important for us as Catholic Christians, as we defend our faith, to note that we do not worship Mary or the saints; we HONOR them and ask for their intercession, just like asking a friend to pray for us. One beautiful way to ask for Mary’s intercession is to pray a daily Rosary to encourage deeper devotion to her and to bring us closer to Christ.
Blessed Mother, pray for us. Jesus, have mercy on us.
