Wisconsin Private School Choice Program
SJS participates in the Wisconsin Private School Choice Program, which allows eligible students to attend a Catholic school tuition-free.
The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP), or the Private School Choice Program allows students who reside in a Wisconsin school district, other than the Milwaukee or Racine Unified School District to attend any participating private school if certain eligibility criteria are met and the students are selected in the random drawing conducted by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI). The private school, on behalf of he pupil’s parent or guardian, receives a state aid payment for each eligible student.
Application dates for 2021-22 are February 1– April 15, 2021
Family Eligibility
If your family income places you at or below 220% of the federal poverty guideline you may apply for a voucher through the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) via the DPI.
For each additional family member, add $9,856. Income levels are Adjusted Gross Income (AGI).

When To Apply
Apply online between February 1 – April 15, 2021. Apply early! Late applications for the voucher program will not be accepted for any reason by the state.

- Complete the online registration form at http://dpi.wi.gov/choice
- An email address is required to use the system
- Please write down the email address and password that you use. Missing or incorrect information will cause problems processing the application and may cause the application to be ineligible.
