The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults isthe process by which the Catholic Church welcomes new members into its midst or completes the process of Christian initiation. This process involves receiving 1 or all 3 sacraments of initiation which include Baptism, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation.
During the process of initiation, a person grows in knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church, explores the meaning of the Scriptures for daily life, develops friendships with members of the parish community, learns to pray and worship in the Catholic tradition and discovers the joy of serving others.
