Easter Flower Fund

Each year at this time, St. John Nepomucene welcomes donations to the Easter Flower Fund in memory of departed loved ones. Donations in any amount may be made at the parish office from now until March 29th.

There will also be envelopes at the Information Desk that you may provide to the parish office as well. This not only enables us to decorate St. John Nepomucene during Easter, but throughout the whole year!

Mission Club – Sweater/Mitten Order

We need your help! The St. John Nepomucene Mission Club is looking for the person who placed an order last spring of 2020.  We need to know the name and phone number of the woman who dropped off  her deceased husband’s old sweaters from last spring.

We have completed the order for two pairs of winter mittens. They are ready to be picked up and we apologize for losing your name and phone number!!

Please contact the parish office at 788-9061 with any information. Thank you!

Prayer Night for Our Priests

A Father Gobbi prayer cenacle for priests is held every second Sunday of each month before the Blessed Sacrament at St. John Nepomucene.

We will be starting this again on Sunday, March 14th. We meet in the gathering area and proceed into church at 7:00 p.m. where we pray our rosaries and other prayers.

We will be following the same protocols that the church is in regards to social distancing and face masks. All are welcome, please join us!

Summer of 2021 for Little Flowers Girls Club

After reevaluating the St. John Nepomucene Little Flowers Girls Club, it has been decided that we will not hold anything this winter/spring. We will commence registration in the summer of 2021.

We pray that this coming summer will be safer for our girls to meet and continue their group fellowship and service like so many of the Catholic saints they have learned about.

In Search of Young Adults!

SPIRITUS is seeking Catholic young adults, 21-29 years of age, to join the SPIRITUS missionary team this August. SPIRITUS ignites the faith in thousands of young Catholics through retreats and parish youth ministry each year! Missionaries live in community and travel to parishes and schools throughout Wisconsin; they receive training, formation, spiritual direction, lodging, food, a monthly allowance, health insurance and a $2,000 stipend upon completion of the 9-month program. It is a unique opportunity to serve our Lord and help young Catholics grow in faith.

Seeking parishioners for Adoration Group

O, COME LET US ADORE HIM…would you like to join our group from St. John Nepomucene who commit to covering Adoration at the St. Pius Adoration Chapel on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.?

This is NOT an every week commitment.  It is on a rotating schedule.  For example, if we have a team of 8, you would commit to going once every 8 weeks. It is an awesome opportunity to just sit quietly in the very presence of our Lord….pray, read, just bask in His Holy presence.  If you are interested, or have any questions, please contact Cheryl Hietpas at cahietpas@new.rr.com. Also, please contact her by December 22nd so she is able to get the 2021 schedule ready!
