FREE EVENT!! Calling all young gardeners… get a sprinkle of faith while you decorate your own flower pot that will soon bloom with flowers for you & your family to enjoy all summer. Soil and seeds included! All are welcome!

Grieving with Great Hope (April 30th – May 28th) at at Prince of Peace

We know how difficult suffering a loss can be, but grief is a journey and you do not have to do it alone. You are welcome to attend our upcoming Grieving With Great Hope series from April 30th through May 28th.

Grieving with Great HOPE (with grief peer group discussions)

This is a five-week grief support workshop series that offers a prayerful, practical and personal approach for anyone who is mourning the loss of a loved one.

If you have lost a spouse, a child (including pregnancy loss), a grandchild, a parent, another family member or a friend, you are encouraged to attend Good Mourning Ministry, a Catholic bereavement apostolate.

Registration is $10/person. Scholarships are available for this program to those with financial hardships.  Please contact Deb Wegner-Hohensee for information. 

WHEN IS THIS SERIES:
Tuesdays in April and May 2024 from 1-3 p.m.

DATES ARE: April 30th, May 7th, May 14th, May 21st and May 28th

All are welcome for this special explanation of MYSTAGOGY on Sunday, April 28th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. MYSTAGOGY comes from the Greek word meaning “to lead through the mysteries”.  It is a time to explore the spiritual treasures  contained in the sacraments and significance for our personal lives of faith.

Christmas Stars – Open Auditions on May 11th & May 16th

Christmas Stars – Open Auditions on May 11th & May 16th

Christmas Stars, an annual holiday-themed musical revue, will hold open auditions on Saturday morning, May 11th and Thursday evening, May 16th at the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre located at 1600 W. Prospect Avenue in Appleton.

Students entering Kindergarten through 12th grade in the 2024-2025 school year and adults of all ages who enjoy singing and dancing are invited to audition.

Retreat Ministry with SPIRITUS

SPIRITUS is hiring young adults to serve as part of a missionary team, leading students into an encounter with Jesus and igniting their faith.

From mid-August to mid-May, SPIRITUS missionaries travel throughout Wisconsin facilitating retreats for Catholic students in grades 2nd through 12th. Missionaries receive a monthly stipend, one-on-one mentoring, spiritual direction, food, lodging, health insurance and a $3,000 completion stipend. They live in community, deepen their faith, and embark on a joy-filled year of service!
