Join us on Sunday, March 17 in the Fellowship Hall anytime from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. to learn more about Pillars, a local non-profit.

Four volunteers from Pillars will be in attendance to explain the many ways Pillars makes a difference in our very own community.

We will have lunch for purchase with profits benefitting Pillars.

  • Small Meal Deal $5 includes one slice of pizza, a bag of chips and a water or a juice
  • Big Meal Deal $10 includes two slices of pizzas, a bag of chips, a water or a juice and a cupcake

Bake Sale

A variety of baked goods will be available for purchase with profits benefitting Pillars.  Pricing will vary.  If you are interested in donating to this bake sale, we are accepting any baked goods including gluten-free and sugar-free goods dropped of in the Fellowship Hall on March 17 after 9 a.m. We will handle the packaging.

Kids Activities

In the Msgr. Jim Room (right next to the Fellowship Hall) will be an area dedicated to kids activities and entertainment including balloon animals, a scavenger hunt, word puzzles, coloring and more.  Adults and older students will be on hand to keep your kids entertained while you learn more.

We will also have an area for donations.  Pillars is looking for any non-perishable food item, items from their wish list as well as goodwill cash offerings.  Click here to learn more about how to donate to Pillars.

Get your saved seat by pre-ordering a ticket to see this award winning Christian Band at the Cup O Joy in Green Bay. This will occur on March 23rd at 7 pm and the doors will open at 6 pm and reserved tickets are $25.

Lead singer, Dave Frey, shares powerful and inspiring stories from life and on the road! The band plays multiple instruments and will include the bands popular radio hits, deep album cuts and brand new never performed music.

Knights of Columbus Council 10919 will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Banquet on February 17th!

All are welcome to attend the Knights of Columbus Valentine’s Day Banquet! This will be held on Saturday, February 17th after the 4:30 p.m. Mass in Fellowship Hall. The cost is $15 per person or $30 per couple. They will be serving Van Abel’s broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing and assorted desserts. Childcare will be provided and pizza will be served to the children.

He will also be available after the Masses the weekend of February 10th and 11th to accept payment and provide the dinner tickets. Are you a young adult between the ages of 18-35? Come to CorJesu at St. Mary’s in Appleton from 7 pm until 9pm on March 7th.

It’s a night filled with adoration lead by Bishop Ricken, praise and worship, confession, and fellowship bringing the hearts of young adults to the heart of Jesus.

Here is an estimate of what the schedule normally looks like: 

7 pm – Exposition & prayers
7:05 pm – Reading of the day
7:07 pm – Homily
7:15 pm – 8:15 pm(ish) – Confession
8:15 pm – 8:30 pm(ish) – Benediction
8:30 pm – 9 pm – Fellowship

Our Lenten Journey – Presented by Sr. Elise Cholewinski and Sr. Laura Zelten

What are the lessons of the Sunday Gospels during Lent? Join Sister Elise Cholewinski and Sister Laura Zelten as they lead “Our Lenten Journey.” Using different prayer practices the Sisters will help participants experience the Gospel message.

Each presentation will be from 10 to 10:45 am Thursdays at St. Francis Convent (3110 Nicolet Dr in Green Bay). The presentations are free but limited to 30 people each date.

26th Annual Spring Auction Fundraiser – Prince of Peace – March 2, 2024

GREEN BAY, WI – On Saturday, March 2, 2024, Prince of Peace Catholic Community will be hosting their 26th Annual Spring Auction.  

The evening will feature dinner, along with Silent and Live Auction and numerous raffles. This year’s event will be held at Eddie Whipp’s Dining Hall located at 5073 WI HWY 29, Green Bay, WI.  

Doors open and silent auction bidding begins at 5:00 PM with cash bar available. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM.  The live auction will start at 7:00 PM and tables will begin to close at 8:15 PM.

Tickets can be purchased for $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The event is open to adults only. To obtain tickets, donate a new item, or learn more about Prince of Peace’s 26th Annual Auction please contact the parish at 920-468-5718 or email: parish@popgb.org.

The Catholic Schoolhouse Appleton Chapter is hosting an information meeting for the 2024-2025 academic year at Sacred Heart Parish in Appleton on February 20th.

Catholic Schoolhouse is a structured program that meets weekly for homeschoolers that includes chorus, two hours of classroom instruction, hands-on science, art projects and opportunities for socializing after class.
