End Of Life Series
Part 1 – Thursday, April 13th
Part 2 – Thursday, April 20th

This is a special 2-part series to help ease and provide answers for end-of-life preparations. Join us for a video presentation by Fr. Tad (April 13th) drawing on the rich tradition of our Catholic teaching. Area experts will share on pre-planning (April 20th). End of life decisions can be challenging.

  • What do you know about proportionate treatment in making health care decisions for yourself OR your parents?
  • Should I have a Proxy, a Living Will, a DNR?
  • What about morphine?
  • Is a ventilator required?
  • Are there benefits of funeral pre-planning?

CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to host Maximus Cabey on April 4th

CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to host Maximus Cabey on April 4th

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, our CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to host Maximus Cabey as he presents “My Journey Back to the Catholic Church” at 7 p.m. in the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre. This is a personal and honest story of his life.

For the past 30-plus years he has held ministry roles in Catholic, non-denominational and Eastern Orthodox churches, and currently serves as Child & Youth Faith Formation Director and Ecumenical Officer for the Diocese of Green Bay.

He admits that his departure from the Catholic Church was, in part, because he was impatient and immature. Cabey shares insights he gained that can help the Church understand and meet the challenges it faces today.

Traveling Rosary for Vocations – April 12th

Traveling Rosary for Vocations – April 12th

Traveling Rosary for Vocations: The Green Bay Diocesan Council of Catholic Women is helping to raise an awareness and assist in rectifying our Diocesan Priestly Vocation Shortage. Our best course of action is prayer to our Lord. Therefore, we are sponsoring this prayer service as a sort of 9-month novena for vocations.

Every 2nd Wednesday of the month from March – November we will gather for prayer and inspiration at nine different churches throughout the diocese. The agenda includes rosary for vocations and a speaker. All are welcome.

The second date and location: April 12 at St. Philomena, 434 State Rd., Birnamwood, 54414; 1:00 – 2:30 PM. For more info call 920-794-8276.
