Thanksgiving Day Mass at St. John Nepomucene
St. John Nepomucene will be having a Thanksgiving Mass on November 28th at 8:00 a.m.
We are asking for food and financial donations to help the St. John Nepomucene Food Pantry. If you are not able to attend Mass on Thanksgiving, please feel free to bring your donation to the parish office or place your food items in the wicker baskets at the entry of the church. May God bless you!
Concretes for a Cause – November 18th – 22nd (Culver’s in Little Chute)
Culver’s of Little Chute is going to be running an event called “Concretes for a Cause”.
This event will run from from November 18th – 22nd. During that time frame, Culver’s will donate $1.00 for each concrete sold (all sizes included) to the St. John Nepomucene Food Pantry!

Veterans Day Celebration at Hallmark Place Retirement Community on November 15th
Calling all Veterans! Come and enjoy a Veteran’s Day celebration at the Hallmark Place Retirement Community located at 425 W Kennedy Ave in Kimberly on November 15th from 9 am until 11:30 am.

November Matching Donations – St. Vincent de Paul Store in Kaukauna
Hollandtown Chapter of Catholic Financial Life is supporting its annual November fundraiser for the Kaukauna St. Vincent de Paul Store through financial donations and also on Friday, November 15th and 22nd with an in-store bake sale.
CFL will match fund up to $500. The Kaukauna St. Vincent de Paul Store services Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, Freedom, Wrightstown and Forest Junction. Cash donations can be mailed to or dropped off at the St. Vincent de Paul Store at 217 E. Second Street in Kaukauna.
* Bakery donations may be brought to the store on Friday, November 15th and 22nd during store hours of 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. If you need someone to pick up your bakery or have any questions, you may contact Janie at (920) 766-2741.

This model of prayer prioritizes our time with God so we first approach Him with reverence (adoration), then repent of the sin in our life (confession), then express our gratitude to Him for all He has done (thanksgiving), and finally submit to Him our requests (supplication).
A great habit to incorporate into your daily prayer life.

Veterans Day Concert – Appleton MacDowell Male Chorus on November 11th
Appleton MacDowell Male Chorus welcomes the Singing Statesmen from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for one concert to open our 91st year of performances and brotherhood.

They are joining us at 7:00 pm Veteran’s Day, November 11th at St. Joseph Church, 404 W Lawrence St, Appleton.
The choruses will perform selections from individual programs scheduled this year. They will also perform as a combined chorus. A salute to our country’s veterans will be included in the show.
Because of the special nature of this concert, no tickets are required. In place of an admission charge, free-will donations are accepted at the door to help support future performances of the chorus, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Thank you for helping us continue to be part of the vibrant Fox Cities arts scene to which we have contributed for the past 91 years!

Elizabeth Ministry offers these special retreats as one way to encourage Mothers and Daughters to invest their time, energy and focus on their relationship by creating a meaningful connection and making special memories.
