CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to announce: Ed Jozsa who will present “ENCOUNTERING GOD on Death’s Doorstep”on October 20th at Xavier Fine Arts

As the Church prepares to celebrate All Saints and All Souls days on November 1st and November 2nd, our CIA-Faith Mission Operatives apostolate is excited to offer another powerful story of a Catholic whose life and faith were radically changed through a Near Death Experience (NDE)

On Monday, October 20th at 7 p.m. in the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre, Ed Jozsa will present “ENCOUNTERING GOD on Death’s Doorstep”, his fascinating account of both terror and a glimpse of Heaven that occurred during and after he was crushed and trapped in his car for hours following an accident.

Coming to Appleton from Indiana, Ed will tell his story as part of the 2025-2026 Investigate Your Faith series. No tickets needed! Free will offering encouraged. For details, please visit: https://sites.google.com/site/ciafmo/events-1.

The Fisherman’s Ring

Did you know that each pope wears a custom ring engraved with his name? The ring, called The Fisherman’s Ring, depicts Saint Peter in a boat, a reference to his role as a fisher of men. The tradition of destroying the ring after each pope’s death was changed in 2013 when Pope Benedict XVI resigned. Instead of being destroyed, a deep cross was carved into his ring so it could no longer be used.
