What is a Cathedral?
~ It is the official church of a diocese, where the bishop (or archbishop) presides.
~ The name ‘cathedral’ comes from the bishop’s chair (cathedra) which is located in the cathedral.
~ It is the central church for the religious community within the diocese.
~ You may go and visit the cathedral in our diocese, St. Francis Xavier, for Mass or for a tour of the church and museum which is located at 140 S. Monroe Ave in Green Bay. You may contact them at (920) 432-4348.

There are two (2) 3-year term positions available and one 1-year position open for the 2025-2026 school year. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. Candidates should possess a strong faith, a love for Catholic education and be a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Community.

Divine Mercy Sunday — Jesus, I Trust In You!
This feast day celebrates St. Faustina’s profound apparition of Jesus’s immense love, grace and mercy to those who celebrate it. All are welcome to join us on Sunday, April 27th in church from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. as we gather to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Holy Week Mass Ministry Sign Ups at St. John Nepomucene
Holy Week is FAST approaching and we are in NEED of MANY volunteers for our Holy Week Mass ministries! If you would like to help at one or more of the Holy Week Masses this year, please sign-up through the Ministry Scheduler Pro in your account and choose which Mass or Masses you would like to volunteer for.
If you would like to become a new volunteer for the Mass ministries, please send an email to volunteerscheduler@stjn.org and we can help set up an account for you and get you started! Training is available for all Mass ministries. You may also contact the parish office at (920) 788-9061 and ask for Sarah.

Easter Flower Fund at St. John Nepomucene
Each year at this time, St. John Nepomucene welcomes donations to the Easter Flower Fund in memory of departed loved ones. Donations, in any amount, can be made at the parish office from now until Monday, April 14th. This fund enables us to decorate St. John Nepomucene not only during Easter, but throughout the entire year!
