Why I love St. John School?
My favorite part of teaching is seeing the lightbulb go off when a student masters a concept or skill and is able to move onto the next stage of learning.
My favorite part of teaching?
I love building relationships with each and every student of mine. Seeing them smile and laugh shows me that learning is fun, which is exactly how it should be! I also love to see growth academically and socially throughout the year.
What I like to do outside of school?
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time at our cabin in Townsend with family and friends. I also enjoy reading and painting.
My education
I graduated from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc in December of 2014, with a dual major in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education.
My professional training
Since graduating from college, I have had the pleasure to work for Pierce County as their Program Coordinator, Service Coordinator, and Teacher as well as with Royal Montessori Academy where I taught for 4 years. My most recent teaching placement was with Appleton School District, but were I taught for 3 years with 4K Special Education.
