Meet Dianna Ciaciura — Interventionist and Curriculum Specialist
Why I love St. John School?
God works in mysterious ways! Leading me to the opportunity to work with students and teachers at St. John has to be part of God’s plan. In the short time I have been a staff member at St. John School, I have witnessed first hand, staff modeling and sharing their faith with students through their teaching and daily interactions. I feel so blessed to be a part of the faith filled community at St. John!
My favorite part of teaching?
There is no better job than being a Teacher! Every day as a teacher brings a new adventure. Looking through the eyes of children, we as adults can learn so much from them! I love to see the gleam in their eyes when they accomplish a new task or have an “ Aha!” moment! Celebrating these moments are the BEST! I have always felt blessed to be a small part in helping students believe in themselves and guide them in their learning journey.
What I like to do outside of school?
I love spending time with family and friends! My husband and I often “team up” to complete DYI projects. I think of the idea and he figures out how to make it work! I also enjoy being outdoors, crafts, decorating, reading and Golden Retrievers!
My education
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I am certified to teach PreK-5. My first teaching job was a Kindergarten teacher in Indiana for 14 years. Our plan had always been to move back to Wisconsin to be closer to family. In 2002, we came “back home” to where we currently reside in Darboy. In May 2020, I retired from Neenah Joint School District after 18 years as a Kindergarten and 1st Grade teacher.
