Why I love St. John School?
Since I started at St. Johns, everyone has done their very best to assist me in any way they can, many going out of their way to introduce themselves. Many people think that family is limited to who you share a name with, but here at St. Johns, just being a part of the community also makes you a part of the family that we have here.
My favorite part of teaching?
When the students bring up topics that interest them. While I have a lesson planned for them, I also love being able to answer the questions that they have on their mind. It is in these moments that you can see who the students want to become.
What I like to do outside of school?
Outside of school I like to spend my time with my dog, Ginger, bringing her to the park, often spending hours just letting her play. I have yet to find the limit to her energy. Camping is also one of my favorite things to do as I love being able to sit next to a fire enjoying a cup of coffee or just listening to the birds sing.
