Why I love St. John School?
From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by so much positivity and kindness – it was honestly overwhelming in the best way. Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming, and I already feel like I’m part of something special here.
My favorite part of being at SJS?
I love watching kids learn and grow – there’s something so special about seeing their eyes light up when they understand something new. Helping them along the way is just as rewarding, and I feel like I’m learning something new every day, too.
What I like to do outside of school?
Spending time with my husband is something I truly cherish. Whether we’re out and about or just relaxing at home, I enjoy every moment we share together. When I’m not at school, I enjoy a mix of quiet time and staying active. I love going on bike rides, playing my violin and going for walks – they help me clear my mind and enjoy the outdoors. Reading is something I do to relax. Most of all, I value the time I spend with family and friends – it’s those moments that mean the most to me.
My education
I started my education in kindergarten and have grown so much through each stage, from elementary to high school. Along the way, I learned not just academics, but also about myself – what I enjoy, how I learn and what motivates me.
My professional training
I spent 34 years working in the insurance industry, but I’ve found real joy in working alongside school staff, students and teachers. It’s been a meaningful and fulfilling change.
