Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year!
Connect With Us Online
Connect with us through Facebook to see upcoming events, fun images and videos.
Together we love, share and remind each other of hot dog day. This is a page run by the parents for the parents, and questions get answered pretty quickly!
New this school year is our own Instagram page! Connect with us here to see pictures and videos.
The St. John Nepomucene Catholic Community has a YouTube page with a playlist dedicated to SJS, but you can also find Youth Ministry videos and live streamed masses.
Subscribe to our Google Calendar
Recommended to do this on a desktop or laptop, integrate our online calendar right into your own online calendar!
This webpage has information about Home & School events, the Board of Ed and how you can get involved as well as copies of our weekly newsletters, pdf calendars, online forms, policies and so much more!
Information about ordering uniforms in the future will be sent to you via email.
PowerSchool is our Student Information System, which allows you to view your student’s grades, attendance and lunch balance. PowerSchool has an app as well, but please note that it does not have all the capabilities of the desktop website.
All new families have been paired up with a current family (listed below), and they want to answer any and all of your questions as well as fill you in on the fun things happening at SJS! Feel free to contact them anytime!
PreK – 1st grade: Miranda Schuh
2nd grade – 4th grade: Beth Driessen
5th-6th grade: Heather Vosters
7th – 8th grade: Stacey Van Grinsven
Families are automatically subscribed to an email list to keep you informed about news and events happening school-wide at SJS.
Our weekly newsletter is called the Dutchmen Details and is sent on Wednesdays. Please read this regularly! Copies of each newsletter can be found on our website under News.
Parent Notify emails are sent out as needed with time-sensitive information.
Both emails will come from the Administrative Assistant, Peg Van Asten. Please add her to your contacts, and contact her with any email address changes.
Classroom teachers will also reach out to you on a regular basis via email!
The monthly hot lunch menu can be found on the Parent Resources webpage. A shortened menu will also be listed in the Dutchmen Details newsletter.
Meet the Staff
Learn about our teachers and staff! You can view Teacher Profiles on our website and you can view the Open House Videos they made on our YouTube Page. Please note that new teachers will not have a video, but their classroom atmosphere and curriculum will be the same.
What is scrip? It is simply gift cards that you purchase from the church and use at places like Kwik Trip, Festival and Walmart. By using SCRIP for everyday purchases like gas and groceries, as well as things like dining out, clothing, home improvement and movies, you earn a rebate that can be applied toward tuition. Click here to learn more and see below for an awesome SCRIP promotion we are running!
One of the most frequent questions we get asked is: How do I pay for…
- Hot Lunch
- Other School Fees (i.e. field trips, music fees and Home & School)
We recommend using your financial institution’s Online Bill Pay option, which sends a physical check directly from your checking account to St. John Nepomucene. It’s handy because most people can do it from any device and it allows tracking within your bank account for tax purposes. Or simply mail in a check yourself! Send to: St. John Nepomucene, PO Box 305, Little Chute, WI 54140.
You may also use Venmo at @StJohnNepomucene-LC. Please leave a specific description with your student’s name and what the payment is for.
And finally, you may drop off a check or cash at the church financial office. The office is open Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.; however, on Fridays from June 1 – Aug. 31 the office is open 8 a.m. to Noon.
Unfortunately, payments are no longer accepted at the school office or through the family envelope. Thank you!

Before/After School Care
St. John School offers child care for students in grades PreK-4 through 5th Grade. In the morning, parents may drop their students off as early as 7 a.m., free of charge! Students may stay after school until 5:30 p.m. for $8 per day. Registration for morning and/or after school is required, and students may attend at any point throughout the year.
Currently, there is not a dedicated bus through SJS. If you are interested in a bussing option, please contact Kobussen Busses at (920) 766-0606.
Click here to view the map for the parking lot traffic flow when dropping off students in the morning.
We love volunteers at SJS and we can’t wait to have them back in school with us this school year! All volunteers must be VIRTUS trained. Click here to get started!
