2nd Annual Beer, Brats & Brotherhood on October 21st in Fellowship Hall at St. John Nepomucene

Please join us for our 2nd Annual Beer, Brats & Brotherhood on October 21st in Fellowship Hall at St. John Nepomucene. It is an intergenerational FREE event so all grandfathers, fathers, uncles, friends and boys (age 5 and older) are invited to come and share in the fun!

Come and hear speaker, Jim Vande Hey, as he share stories and a message about how we can incorporate faith into sports, hunting and everyday life and step it up in our faith as role models.

There will be fun activities and prizes as well! Please register by October 9th by contacting the parish office at (920) 788-9061, filling out a Google Form (click here) or by sending an email to Sarah at szteske@stjn.org.

This event is being sponsored by St. John Nepomucene Adult Faith Formation Committee and the Knights of Columbus.

Veterans Day Concert – Appleton MacDowell Male Chorus on November 11th

Appleton MacDowell Male Chorus welcomes the Singing Statesmen from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for one concert to open our 91st year of performances and brotherhood.

They are joining us at 7:00 pm Veteran’s Day, November 11th at St. Joseph Church, 404 W Lawrence St, Appleton.

The choruses will perform selections from individual programs scheduled this year. They will also perform as a combined chorus. A salute to our country’s veterans will be included in the show.

Because of the special nature of this concert, no tickets are required. In place of an admission charge, free-will donations are accepted at the door to help support future performances of the chorus, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Thank you for helping us continue to be part of the vibrant Fox Cities arts scene to which we have contributed for the past 91 years!

“It’s A Guy Thing” – St. John Nepomucene’s FIRST Annual Beer, Brats, Burgers and Brotherhood on October 24th

All are welcome to join us for this fun event while featuring a message from author and National Speaker, Deacon Steve Meyer! Ordained in 2006, Deacon Steve Meyer is a best-selling author of several books, national speaker, and the co-founder of Whatsoever You Do, Inc., Street Lights Outreach, and a number of other programs that advance the dignity of God’s people. Professionally, he works as a Chief Strategy Officer for a company specializing in organizational branding and creative communications.

WHO: All Young Adults through the “Wise Guys”
(Grans, Sons, Godfathers, Brothers, Uncles, Co-workers, Friends, Neighbors)

WHEN: Thursday, October 24th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
