What is the Bishop’s Appeal?

The Bishop’s Appeal is a stewardship opportunity for each of us to reach out to thousands of people in search of Jesus’ love. Each gift given supports the ministries of the Diocese of Green Bay which serve our parishes, Catholic schools, and communities. Your gift truly helps bring the heart and hands of Christ to our children, young adults, families and neighbors here in northeastern Wisconsin.

Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal will help in countless ways.  Children and families are able to attend lively, interactive education programs learning the Word of God.  A young woman in an abusive relationship is able, through counseling with Catholic Charities, to stand on her own feet.  Married couples struggling with infertility are able to become parents through Adoption Services.  Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal makes happy endings possible.

93% of every dollar raised goes to Diocesan ministries and services here in northeast Wisconsin.

CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to announce: Fr. James Jugenheimer who will present “Finding the Fisherman’s Bones”on November 17th at Xavier Fine Arts

As we continue to celebrate the May election of Pope Leo XIV, the 266th successor of Saint Peter and the first American pope, CIA-Faith Mission Operatives would like to invite your parishioners to join us for one of the Catholic Church’s most intriguing “Pope stories”! 

On Monday, November 17th at 7 p.m. in the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre, Fr. James Jugenheimer of Appleton’s St. Pius X Parish, will present “FINDING THE FISHERMAN’S BONES – The fascinating story of the Vatican search for St. Peter’s tomb.”  

The location of Saint Peter’s tomb is well known now, but for centuries it remained hidden in an ancient Roman burial ground deep beneath the main altar of the Vatican basilica that bears his name. How, by whom, and when was his grave finally discovered? Why is he buried there? And how do we know it’s really him?

A teacher in his early years, Fr. Jim excels in his ability to research and bring to life the details of some of our faith’s many intriguing stories and mysteries, including this one!

CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to announce: Ed Jozsa who will present “ENCOUNTERING GOD on Death’s Doorstep”on October 20th at Xavier Fine Arts

As the Church prepares to celebrate All Saints and All Souls days on November 1st and November 2nd, our CIA-Faith Mission Operatives apostolate is excited to offer another powerful story of a Catholic whose life and faith were radically changed through a Near Death Experience (NDE). 

On Monday, October 20th at 7 p.m. in the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre, Ed Jozsa will present “ENCOUNTERING GOD on Death’s Doorstep”, his fascinating account of both terror and a glimpse of Heaven that occurred during and after he was crushed and trapped in his car for hours following an accident.

Why is the Diocese starting the Raising Vocations Collection?

The collection will support young people as they encounter Jesus. This collection will help us further reach our Diocesan goal of calling forth and forming 35 or more men in seminary formation by 2028.

How does your gift to the Raising Vocations Collection support Vocations?

This important collection supports ministries that help young men and women discover Christ and accompany them on their vocation journey. The collection is supporting ministries and is sending youth to events like Steubenville Conferences, Blessed St. Carlo Acutis Youth Day, SEEK conferences, and even more.
