John Girotti, vicar general for the Diocese of Green Bay and one of our most popular past presenters.

The Bishop’s Appeal is a stewardship opportunity for each of us to reach out to thousands of people in search of Jesus’ love. Each gift given supports the ministries of the Diocese of Green Bay which serve our parishes, Catholic schools, and communities. All are welcome to join us for a wonderful Marriage Enrichment Weekend at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green lake, WI from March 14th through March 16th.

Good marriages can always be made better! Marriage is “a project to be worked on together” and a “process of growth” (Amoris Laetitia, no. 218, 221). Come and join us for a faith filled weekend retreat for married couples, no matter if you are newlywed or if you are celebrating milestone wedding anniversaries, all are welcome to participate.

Why is the Diocese starting the Raising Vocations Collection?

The collection will support young people as they encounter Jesus. This collection will help us reach our Diocesan goal of 30 men in seminary formation by 2025.

How does your gift to the Raising Vocations Collection support Vocations?

This important collection supports ministries that help young men and women discover Christ and accompany them on their vocation journey. The collection is supporting ministries and is sending youth to events like Steubenville Conferences, Blessed Carlo Acutis Youth Day, SEEK conferences, and even more.

National Eucharistic Pilgrimage – June 12th through June 18th – Northern Marian Route in the Diocese of Green Bay

Plans for the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage through the Diocese of Green Bay from June 12th through June 18th are now complete!

“Be Like Mary. Walk With Jesus” during one of several public events around the diocese.
The complete itinerary of daily events which are all open to the public are available on the diocesan website at www.gbdioc.org. Some events ask for registration; this is purely for planning purposes. Know that all are welcome to join in the public walks, Holy Hours and
Adorations.

Also, mark your calendar to join the pilgrimage on Sunday, June 16th at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion. Bishop Ricken will begin the afternoon with Mass at 2 p.m.,
followed by a procession/rosary walk on the Shrine grounds. The celebration concludes
with snacks and fellowship as Jesus continues His pilgrimage in the diocese.
