FORMED Video of the Month for November – St. John Nepomucene

FORMED Video of the Month for November – St. John Nepomucene

Advent is an odd season. It’s a season that’s not about itself, but a season about preparing for Christmas. But that reality gets lost in the shuffle and stress of getting all the right gifts, decorations, and dinner ingredients. Dr. Tim Grey uses storytelling and readings from the Old Testament to explain that we need live in the “pre-season” of Advent well, so we can be prepared to welcome and receive the greatest gift God the Father wants to give us for Christmas: His son, Jesus.

St. John Nepomucene – Church Cleaning Volunteers Needed

St. John Nepomucene – Church Cleaning Volunteers Needed

St. John Nepomucene Church Cleaning occurs on the first Monday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday, then it is held on the following Monday). We are looking for more volunteers who would like to donate their time and help us clean!

You may attend the 6:45 a.m. Communion Service and then help with the cleaning afterwards or simply come at 7:30 a.m. and meet in the Gathering Space. Light cleaning is performed which consists of dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and other miscellaneous items.

Depending on how many volunteers come, cleaning usually takes about 1.5 hours or less! Help when you are able and stay as long as you are able! You will be doing a great service to your parish all while enjoying fellowship and then indulge on some great dessert bars and refreshments afterwards!

If you have any questions, please contact Amy or Betsy (contact information listed below) or you may call the parish office at (920) 788-9061 .
