FORMED Video of the Month for September – St. John Nepomucene
The FORMED Video of the Month is “Can the Homeless Keep You From Hell?”.
Have you ever came upon a homeless person on a street corner and you felt that nudge to do something but your scared and you don’t know what is helpful? So you avoid eye contact. Jesus makes it crystal clear that we need to serve the poor. Yet every time we see an opportunity, we feel intimidated. How do we get over that?
Take the advice of Blake Brouillette, a young man who’s the director of Christ in the City, a ministry to the poor. For eight years now, he’s been working with people on the streets. Learn how to treat and feel about the homeless as Chris Stefanick interviews Blake Brouillette. Let’s do as Jesus taught us and help serve the poor.
