With the Liturgical New Year swiftly approaching on December 3rd, now is the time for all of us to reflect on our spiritual journey and consider ways to deepen our faith. Why not make a New Year resolution that will nurture your soul and connect you more intimately with God? One beautiful and enriching way to do so is by attending Fox Valley Catholic Bible Study. The group is currently focused on understanding Scripture through the lens of the Nicene Creed. FVCBS welcomes people of all faiths; it’s an opportunity to learn, share, and grow together. You are welcome to attend as often as you would like.

For those who may have time constraints or are unable to attend in person, Fox Valley Catholic Bible Study is also accessible through YouTube.

Have you ever came upon a homeless person on a street corner and you felt that nudge to do something but your scared and you don’t know what is helpful? So you avoid eye contact. Jesus makes it crystal clear that we need to serve the poor. Yet every time we see an opportunity, we feel intimidated. How do we get over that?

Take the advice of Blake Brouillette, a young man who’s the director of Christ in the City, a ministry to the poor. For eight years now, he’s been working with people on the streets. Learn how to treat and feel about the homeless as Chris Stefanick interviews Blake Brouillette. Let’s do as Jesus taught us and help serve the poor.

CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to host Maximus Cabey on April 4th

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, our CIA-Faith Mission Operatives ministry is excited to host Maximus Cabey as he presents “My Journey Back to the Catholic Church” at 7 p.m. in the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre. This is a personal and honest story of his life.

For the past 30-plus years he has held ministry roles in Catholic, non-denominational and Eastern Orthodox churches, and currently serves as Child & Youth Faith Formation Director and Ecumenical Officer for the Diocese of Green Bay.

He admits that his departure from the Catholic Church was, in part, because he was impatient and immature. Cabey shares insights he gained that can help the Church understand and meet the challenges it faces today.

In this, our 16th year, we are blessed to offer you a timeless, inspiring production celebrating the life, death and triumphant resurrection of our Lord.  Strengthen your Lenten journey March 30th through April 2nd  at the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre in Appleton.  This production is appropriate for all ages.

The Feast of the Epiphany celebrates the Magi visit to Jesus, symbolizing God Incarnate made known to us. How do we experience God’s epiphanies today?

Join the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross and Associates at 6:30 pm January 5th for “The Star, The Men, The Woman, The Heart.” This 30-minute, pre-recorded presentation will reflect on the miracle of this manifestation.
