Where: The Grounds of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion (4047 Chapel Drive, Champion, WI)
Short Description for Use: Join the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion on the grounds where the Queen of Heaven appeared for the first-ever Solemnity Mass of Our Lady of Champion on Monday, October 9, 2023! Mass begins at 11:00 a.m., celebrated by Bishop Ricken and his fellow Bishops from around Wisconsin. It will be a historic day for Our Lady of Champion, the Diocese of Green Bay, and everyone in attendance! Let us know you are coming by visiting championshrine.org/oloc-solemnity!
Additional things to know about the Inaugural Solemnity:
- Bishops and priests from across Wisconsin and the U.S. will concelebrate the Mass.
- The Solemnity Mass on October 9th will be outdoors behind the Apparition Chapel, rain or shine!
- Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating for the outdoor Mass!
- Golf carts will be available for transportation to and from the parking lot for those with limited mobility.
- A social gathering will take place following the Solemnity Mass to celebrate Our Lady of Champion and her apparitions in Champion, WI!
