Advent Sacred Lessons and Carols – December 18th – Presented By St. Ignatius Gr. 7-12 Choir and Band

St. Ignatius Catholic School and Chesterton Academy will present Advent Sacred Lessons and Carols Prayer Service on Monday, December 18th 6 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church (308 Desnoyer St in Kaukauna).

This is presented by St. Ignatius upper school (grades 7-12) choir and band students. This inspiring evening Advent event will feature the reading of Sacred Scripture interspersed with the singing and playing of Sacred Music.

The event is free, open to the public and family friendly. Any and all parishioners from the community are encouraged to attend!

Christmas Mass Ministry Sign Ups at St. John Nepomucene

With the holidays fast approaching, we are looking at our Christmas Mass Ministry sign ups already! We are going back to tradition where if you would like to help at one or more of the Christmas Masses this year; you may sign up at the Information Desk. This is on a first come basis.

Thanksgiving Day Mass at St. John Nepomucene

St. John Nepomucene will be having a Thanksgiving Mass on November 23rd at 8:00 a.m. We are asking for food and financial donations to help the St. John Nepomucene Food Pantry. If you are not able to attend Mass on Thanksgiving, please feel free to bring your donation to the parish office or place your food items in the wicker baskets at the entry of the church. Here are some great suggestions to help you grow in your Catholic faith!

Go to Confession once a month.
Go to Mass every Sunday.
Pray 5 minutes daily.
Read a good spiritual book.
Read the Daily Mass readings each day.
Do one Act of Mercy each day.
Pray the Rosary.
Find a good Catholic community to join or at least a few good Catholic friends to encourage you on!
