St. John Nepomucene – Secretary Trustee Position Open
It is time, once again, for St. John Nepomucene to hold our trustee election in accordance with diocesan guidelines. This year our parish will be electing the SECRETARY TRUSTEE to a two-year term.
At this time, we are accepting nominations for individuals who are interested in this position. Candidates must be at least 21-years old and a practicing Catholic who is interested and involved in parish life. You may submit your own name or the name of another person, as long as you have first sought their permission to do so.
You may submit a name by writing it down on the nomination form that is currently at the Information Desk in the Gathering Space. Also, for an individual to be on a ballot, a person must receive 10 nominations. Please prayerfully consider if this is a ministry that you or someone you know would be interested in.
Nominations are being accepted from now until June 29th. The final ballot will be announced the weekend of July 5th and July 6th. Elections will be held the weekend of July 12th and July 13th.
June Explanation Station – St. John Nepomucene Adult Faith Formation
God expresses His divine will in the ancient law of the Old Testament. Then, God enters human history directly through the person of Jesus, who is the Son of God and one with God in a unique way. In turn, Jesus gives us an enduring way to encounter his presence in what the church now calls the sacraments.
In common things —water, oil, bread, wine, words, touch, a ring, a promise — we meet the holy presence of God. Oh, the beauty of our Catholic faith.
