ALL RISE! The Northeast Wisconsin Passion Play Open Auditions

Open auditions for ALL RISE! The Northeast Wisconsin Passion Play, a dramatic musical based on the life of Christ, will be held on Thursday evening, January 30^th and Saturday morning, February 1^st, at the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre, 1600 W. Prospect Avenue, Appleton.

Adult and student performers, grades three through twelve, of all faiths are invited to audition.

Director Jim Romenesko seeks singers, dancers and actors for the community production.

Performances dates for the 2025 season are April 10th through April 13th, with a special performance for Religious Education / Faith Formation groups on April 9^th.

Chorus, lead and supporting roles, both singing and non-singing are available. Those auditioning will also be asked to do a simple movement/dance audition.

Performances and rehearsals are held at the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre, 1600 W. Prospect Avenue Appleton on Sunday evenings with soloists & actors in leading roles also rehearsing on some Sunday afternoons. Peter Leschke is the show’s musical director. Mary Doverspike, Jr. is the choreographer.

Prospect Avenue in Appleton). Adult and student performers, grades three through twelve, of all faiths are invited to audition. Director Jim Romenesko seeks singers, dancers and actors for the community production.

Performances dates for the 2023 season are March 30th through April 2nd, with a special performance for Religious Education groups on March 29^th.

“Christmas Stars” to hold auditions!

“Christmas Stars,” a holiday-themed musical revue preparing for its 28^th season, will hold auditions for adult (high school and above) singers and dancers and children in kindergarten through eighth grade on Saturday, May 15th from 9:00 to 11:30 am and on May 17th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre, 1600 W. Prospect Avenue, Appleton.

Rehearsals are held at Xavier High School on Sunday nights beginning at the end of August for adults and in September for students. Performances for 2021 are December 2nd through December 12th at the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre. The show’s director is Jim Romenesko, assisted by Sue Hahn. Mary Doverspike is the choreographer and Peter Leschke is the choral director.

COVID-19 precautions will be followed for auditions and rehearsals. Masks are required.
