Rock Cancer – Join us on August 19th at Doyle Park

The Spierings Cancer Foundation’s 15th Annual Rock Cancer Event is scheduled for August 19th at Doyle Park in Little Chute starting at 1:00 p.m.!
Every 3rd Saturday of August at Doyle Park in Little Chute, WI. The Spierings Cancer foundation holds their annual fundraising event called Rock Cancer. It’s a daylong celebration of life with a variety of activities throughout the day for the entire family to enjoy. Starting with the I CAN-SUR FIVE 5K walk at 12pm, food, drink, large dedication screen, kids’ activities, many raffles, dunk tank, VIP picnic table seating, and most of all live music starting at 1pm.
Rock Cancer Prayer Service
Join us on Thursday, August 17th at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for our Rock Cancer Prayer Service. During this Prayer Service, we will stand with your loved ones who are battling cancer, honor the survivors and remember the ones who have passed away.

August 6th – 70th Annual St. John-Sacred Heart Picnic & Car Show
All are welcome to join us for our 70th Annual St. John-Sacred Heart Picnic and Car Show on August 6th. It will be held at Hwy 114 and 55 in Sherwood.
There will be an outdoor Mass at Sacred Heart at 10:30 a.m. The car show will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. There will be live music, games, a silent auction, a wonderful chicken dinner and so much more!

Job Opening – St. John Nepomucene Cemetery Summer Help
The St. John Cemetery Association is seeking an individual to assist the cemetery maintenance crew in maintaining the grounds during the summer months. General duties would include weeding, line trimming and other light maintenance. This is a 7-10 hours per week position during the months of June, July and August. Starting wage is $12 per hour.

St. John Nepomucene – Coffee Bar Volunteers Needed
We are looking for a few more individuals or families to join the Coffee Bar Ministry! It is such an easy and fun area to volunteer for! We are in need of more individuals and/or families to take care of the Coffee Bar at all three of our weekend Masses. There is a greater need for the 4:30 p.m. Mass.
You would be scheduled once a month and you may sign up at the Coffee Bar or at the parish office. You may also contact Sarah at the parish office at (920) 788-9061 if you have any questions or would like further information.
