SPIRITUS Ministries is offering a Come and See weekend for young adults who are interested in learning what it is like to become a SPIRITUS missionary. Visit https://www.spiritusministries.org/comeandsee to learn more.
Experience:
-Live in the missionary residence (by gender)
-Observe a SPIRITUS led retreat
-Meet the current missionaries
-Enter into the prayer life of the missionaries
-Tour the retreat center & facilities
-Have an opportunity to discern missionary life
-Opportunity for in-person interviews

Volunteers Needed for St. John Nepomucene’s Baptism Meal Delivery
Are you looking for a way to help out other families in our church without the big time commitment?
We are looking for individuals who are interested in being involved in baptism meal delivery. The responsibilities include making approximately one meal every two month (six per year) for a family with a newly baptized child.

Respect Life/Pro Life – October – Respect Life Month
Emily Albrecht, a dynamic speaker, writer, and coach with Equal Rights Institute, will give a series of talks on life issues in the diocese. Emily’s roots are in the Green Bay Diocese as her family resides in Neenah. Here is a schedule of her talks, all of which are open to the public:

· Topic: “The Most Persuasive Pro-Life Argument”

Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna, WI
· Topic: How to Live the Pro Life Message
· Time: 8:00 am-2:30 pm – all are welcome to attend one or all of the following talks:

Second Wind Dreams Hands-On Dementia Experience Event

Ever wonder what it would be like to experience what a loved one with memory loss is feeling? Now is your opportunity!
Join us on Friday, October 14th from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Woodside Lutheran Home, 1040 Pilgrim Way, Green Bay.

Join us as we take you through our Second Wind Dreams dementia hands-on experience. This activity will take you about one hour to complete.
