Christmas Flower Fund – St. John Nepomucene
Each year at this time, St. John Nepomucene welcomes donations to the Christmas Flower Fund in memory of departed loved ones. Donations in any amount may be made at the parish office from now until December 16th.
There will be envelopes at the Information Desk too. This not only enables us to decorate St. John Nepomucene during Christmas, but throughout the whole year!

Yesterday, Fr. Ron and Deacon Dave along with Jerry Gmeiner from Hoffman Construction hosted a tour of our New Parish Center for local media.

New Parish Center Update for November
By: Deacon Dave Van Eperen
It has been a few months since the last update, and if you have driven down Vandenbroek Street, you can see that we are nearing the finish line. As you read this, we are finishing up the final punch lists and getting ready to move in. Once again, the weather this past month has been a huge help in allowing us to finish most of the outside work. In spring we will be completing the prayer garden, perimeter plantings and finish the grotto.
The office staff is set to move in by the middle of December and over the next few months the Faith Development students, the Food Pantry and the Mission Club will be settling into their new homes. Plans are in the works for a ribbon cutting ceremony in mid-December. More details to follow.
This is our last update for the project. From start to finish, it has gone extremely well. Hoffman was wonderful to work with and with the exception of a few bumps in the road everything turned out just as we had hoped. Thank you for your prayers for safety for the workers and also for your financial support. This project would not have happened without you.

Prayer Partner for our First Communicants at St. John Nepomucene
Prayer can be a beautiful gift. Are you looking for an opportunity to support someone on their spiritual journey through prayer? If so, being a prayer partner for a child preparing for the Sacrament of First Communion at St. John Nepomucene this spring might be just what you are looking for!
We have 67 students anxiously preparing to receive the Body and Blood of Christ, and a prayer partner to help them spiritually on their journey is so very important.
If you are interested, please provide your name, address, phone number and email address to Kelly in our Faith Development Office at kufi@stjn.org or call (920) 788-9033. She will then pair you with a child (add a name if you would like a specific child).
This is a great opportunity to share with your older children as you pray together for a First Communicant. Thank you so much for your consideration, may God bless you!

St. John Nepomucene – Church Cleaning Volunteers Needed
St. John Nepomucene Church Cleaning occurs on the first Monday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday, then it is held on the following Monday). We are looking for more volunteers who would like to donate their time and help us clean!
You may attend the 6:45 a.m. Communion Service and then help with the cleaning afterwards or simply come at 7:30 a.m. and meet in the Gathering Space. Light cleaning is performed which consists of dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and other miscellaneous items.
Depending on how many volunteers come, cleaning usually takes about 1.5 hours or less! Help when you are able and stay as long as you are able! You will be doing a great service to your parish all while enjoying fellowship and then indulge on some great dessert bars and refreshments afterwards!
If you have any questions, please contact Amy or Betsy (contact information listed below) or you may call the parish office at (920) 788-9061 .

FORMED Video of the Month for November – St. John Nepomucene
Advent is an odd season. It’s a season that’s not about itself, but a season about preparing for Christmas. But that reality gets lost in the shuffle and stress of getting all the right gifts, decorations, and dinner ingredients. Dr. Tim Grey uses storytelling and readings from the Old Testament to explain that we need live in the “pre-season” of Advent well, so we can be prepared to welcome and receive the greatest gift God the Father wants to give us for Christmas: His son, Jesus.
You may view this video called “Advent…Rethinking the Season” by Dr. Tim Gray on FORMED by clicking this link: https://watch.formed.org/videos/advent-rethinking-the-season-by-dr-tim-gray.
