New Parish Center Update for June

By: Deacon Dave Van Eperen

If you haven’t taken a drive down Vandenbroek St. to see the progress on the new Parish Center, I would encourage you to do so.  Things are really starting to take shape, and it is beginning to look like a building!  The steel columns and beams that are the support structure for the building have been installed, and the precast floor plank for the main level has been put in place.  The lower-level plumbing has been completed, and the concrete floor for the lower level has been poured.  The roof support structure has also been installed and is ready for the roof decking to be put in place.  Since the beginning of the project, we have lost about a week and a half due to weather but are still projected to have the project completed by the first of the year.  I ask that you continue to pray for the safety of all our workers and for good weather.

TREASURER TRUSTEE – Position available at St. John Nepomucene

TREASURER TRUSTEE – Position available at St. John Nepomucene

Each parish in the Diocese of Green Bay must have Trustee elections. This year, St. John Nepomucene must elect a TREASURER TRUSTEE. This elected Trustee automatically becomes a member of the Finance Council and the term of office is for two (2) years.

At this time, we are asking for names of those who may be interested in this position. Candidates must be at least 21-years old and a practicing Catholic who is interested and involved in parish life. You may submit your own name or the name of another person, as long as you have first sought their permission to do so. You may submit a name by writing it down on the nomination form that will be available at the Information Desk the weekend of June 16, 2024. Also, for an individual to be on a ballot, a person must receive 10 nominations.

Elections will be held July 13th and July 14th and the nomination form will be available in the Gathering Space at the Information Desk starting the weekend of June 15th and June 16, 2024.

If you have any questions, please contact the parish office at (920) 788-9061. Thank you!

“Be Like Mary. Walk With Jesus” during one of several public events around the diocese.
The complete itinerary of daily events which are all open to the public are available on the diocesan website at www.gbdioc.org. Some events ask for registration; this is purely for planning purposes. Know that all are welcome to join in the public walks, Holy Hours and
