Did you know…

The ONLY Christian church in existence for the first 1,000 years of Christian history was the Roman Catholic Church. All other Christian churches which exist today can trace their linage back to the Roman Catholic Church. Most non-Catholic churches which exist today are less than a century or two old by comparison.

2024 Bishop’s Appeal – Living the Eucharist & Sharing the Gifts

2024 Bishop’s Appeal – Living the Eucharist & Sharing the Gifts

What is the Bishop’s Appeal?

The Bishop’s Appeal is a stewardship opportunity for each of us to reach out to thousands of people in search of Jesus’ love.  Each gift given supports the ministries of the Diocese of Green Bay which serve our parishes, Catholic schools, and communities.  Your gift truly helps bring the heart and hands of Christ to our children, young adults, families, and neighbors here in northeastern Wisconsin.

Why Give to the Bishop’s Appeal?

And the king will say to them in reply, “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” -Matthew 25:40

Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal will help in countless ways.  Care ministers are trained to go out and share the Gospel with the homebound and sick.  Children and families are able to attend lively, interactive education programs learning the Word of God.  A young woman in an abusive relationship is able, through counseling with Catholic Charities, to stand on her own feet.  Families seeking to adopt are connected with newborn babies.  Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal makes happy endings possible.

93% of every dollar raised goes to Diocesan ministries and services here in northeast Wisconsin.

FORMED Video of the Month for January – St. John Nepomucene

This powerful documentary captures the transformation of individuals living on the streets that the Christ in the City missionaries encounter and showcases a new approach to the rising crisis of homelessness.

The film’s videographer spent a year with the missionaries, providing a rare opportunity to see the incredible impact they have on the lives of those they serve. Through their unique relational approach, Christ in the City is changing lives and offering hope to those who have lost everything. This film is a must-see for anyone who wants to understand the root causes of homelessness and witness the power of human connection in addressing this critical issue.
