St. John Nepomucene – Church Cleaning Volunteers Needed

St. John Nepomucene – Church Cleaning Volunteers Needed

St. John Nepomucene Church Cleaning occurs on the first Monday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday, then it is held on the following Monday). We are looking for more volunteers who would like to donate their time and help us clean!

You may attend the 6:45 a.m. Communion Service and then help with the cleaning afterwards or simply come at 7:30 a.m. and meet in the Gathering Space. Light cleaning is performed which consists of dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and other miscellaneous items.

Depending on how many volunteers come, cleaning usually takes about 1.5 hours or less! Help when you are able and stay as long as you are able! You will be doing a great service to your parish all while enjoying fellowship and then indulge on some great dessert bars and refreshments afterwards!

If you have any questions, please contact Amy or Betsy (contact information listed below) or you may call the parish office at (920) 788-9061 .

Feed My Starving Children MobilePack Event held at St. John Nepomucene from December 5th – 6th

Feed My Starving Children MobilePack Event held at St. John Nepomucene from December 5th – 6th

Every year millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria and undernutrition. Today, hunger still causes nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years old. This is heartbreaking. But you can make a difference!

Through our Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack™ event at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Community on December 5th through December 6th, our community is responding to the cries of those in need by producing 145,000 nutritious meals for kids around the world.

Since St. John Nepomucene started hosting FMSC, this year we will collectively reach over 1 million meals!  We invite you to join us! We’re looking for 700+ volunteers to pack 145,000 meals and help us raise $45,000 for this MobilePack event. Adults and children (5 years and older) will measure and scoop ingredients, seal bags and prepare boxes for shipping.

Invite your friends, family, coworkers or school group!

Registration will open on Friday, October 24th. Visit stjn.org/feedmystarvingchildren to volunteer, donate or become an event sponsor.

Holy Land Presentation at St. John Nepomucene – October 3rd

Holy Land Presentation at St. John Nepomucene – October 3rd

George Zambil, a Catholic pilgrimage guide from Jerusalem, will be hosting a ‘must-see’ presentation on the Holy Land at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 3rd in Fellowship Hall.  All are welcome!

George is a licensed guide who leads pilgrimages throughout Israel and the Holy Land. Due to the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel, virtually all pilgrimages since October, 2023 were cancelled, resulting in a great hardship for people who rely on pilgrims for their income.  George, along with Shadi Mansour (a fellow pilgrimage guide) will be visiting our parish to share their insights on various holy sites following the footsteps of Jesus.  They will also be selling art, jewelry, rosaries, and other artifacts from the Holy Land after all the weekend Masses of October 4th and October 5th.

Please plan to join us for a memorable evening! Following the presentation, there will be time for George and Shadi to answer your questions.
