New Parish Center Update for May
By: Deacon Dave Van Eperen
Construction on the new Parish Center has been going well, and we have been very pleased thus far with the efforts of Hoffman and the various subcontractors. We are finally to the point where some of the “above the ground” work will start to happen. All the basement walls have been poured, waterproofed, insulated and backfilled. The masonry work on the elevator shaft is nearing completion, and a very large crane has been brought in to set the HVAC equipment in place and begin erecting the steel. You may notice a few contractor vehicles parked in the north end of our main parking lot in the next few weeks. As we bring all the steel onsite and get it ready to install, we have a temporary space issue and will be using the contractor parking area as an additional staging area. Please continue to pray for the safety of all our workers and for good weather!
