St. John Nepomucene – Secretary Trustee Position Open

It is time, once again, for St. John Nepomucene to hold our trustee election in accordance with diocesan guidelines. This year our parish will be electing the SECRETARY TRUSTEE to a two-year term.

At this time, we are accepting nominations for individuals who are interested in this position. You may submit your own name or the name of another person, with their permission. In order to be placed on the final ballot, an individual must be nominated in writing by 10 different members of the parish.

Nominations can be emailed to Deacon Dave at dvaneperen@stjn.org.

Nominations are being accepted from now until July 2nd. The final ballot will be announced the weekend of July 8th and 9th with the election to take place the weekend of July 15th and 16th. Please prayerfully consider if this is a ministry that you or someone you know would be interested in.

Holy Week Mass Ministry Sign Ups at St. John Nepomucene

Holy Week is FAST approaching and we are in NEED of MANY volunteers for our Holy Week Mass ministries yet! If you would like to help at one or more of the Holy Week Masses this year, please sign-up today at the Information Desk in the binder.

We will be in need of ushers, servers, commentators, greeters, individuals at the Information Desk and communion distributors. Any questions, please contact the parish office at (920) 788-9061.

Our lovely prayer shawls will be blessed during the 8:00 a.m. Mass on January 15th. Please feel free to take one for yourself, a loved one or for someone you may know that would enjoy having one.

Also, please feel free to stop and ask for a blessed Prayer Shawl at any time at the parish office. We can help you pick out the perfect one!

Prince of Peace Jingle & Mingle – January 7th

Join us on Saturday, January 7th for our 2nd Annual Jingle & Mingle!

Start with Mass at 4:30 p.m. with the Mingle Social kicking off at 5:30 p.m. and the Jingle Concert at 6:00 p.m. This event will showcase the full POP Music Ministries.

SPIRITUS Ministries will be hosting IGNITE (Grades 9 – 11)

SPIRITUS Ministries will be hosting IGNITE, an evening of fellowship and fun for students in grades 9-11.

Ignite will meet on the first and third Sundays of the month from 7-9 pm at Mount Tabor Center, 522 Second Street, Menasha.

Volunteers needed for various committees!

Volunteers needed for various committees at St. John Nepomucene! Please prayerfully consider!

St. John Nepomucene is a vibrant parish and we have many great committees that make-up the dedicated teams that are the hands and feet of Jesus, using their time, talents and treasures to respectfully and lovingly serve others at our parish. As such, we are currently looking for MANY new individuals to join the following committees:

* Finance Council (1 position open, 2-year term)
* Adult Faith Formation Committee
* Connection Team
* Ambassadors
* Information Desk
* Technology Committee
* Care Ministry (30-35 individuals needed to be divided amongst hospitals, homebound and three retirement homes)
